Integrations FAQ

What is an integration?

An integration is an outside tool that allows you to organize member and member activity information from another source. For example, if your Community is located on Slack - we support that integration and will import data to populate your Commsor account member activity feeds, reports, and more.

If you have a Community that is active across multiple platforms, we’ll track those members across those platforms. And when members are active in multiple platforms, we’ll aggregate their activity in a single member profile on Commsor and you can see that member’s activity across integrations in their Activity Feed.

Whether you have one integration or several, Commsor will score members based on their activity across platforms (see engagement scoring) to create a live analysis of the health of your community and how your members talk and communicate with one another.

Commsor currently supports integrations with many of the most popular social networking and community spaces.

Yes, any integration added into Commsor can be removed. Whenever you choose to remove an integration from Commsor, you have the option to delete the information or retain it in your Commsor account, but prevent any new information from coming in from that source.
